I would like to take some time to announce our coaching staff to you but to also touch on some team rules.

Really the only rule we have is that during games and practices the boys are ours.  We cannot be successful if the boys are being told one thing from us and another thing from their parents.  The boys need a single and clear message as to what we are wanting them to do.  During games parents are not allowed in the dug out or hanging around by the dug out giving instruction.  If your child needs a drink there is no problem with walking a drink over to them but again we don't want them being coached at that time by anyone other than our coaching staff.

If at any point you feel the need to address anything about a game, playing time, position your child plays or where they are hitting in the lineup I ask that you do away from the kids and not after a game.

The last thing I would like to bring up is that at a game please remember that your actions as a spectator does have an impact on the game.  Kids see, feel and hear the emotion which can take them off their game.  Additionally your actions can result in our coaches being ejected so please keep that in mind. 

With that said we as a coaching staff are geared up and ready to have a successful 2011 season.
